Chinese Culture: Peking Opera and Facial Makeup Activities

                
                     



Learn Peking Opera and Facial Makeup through interesting reading and fun activities! 


 


This product is useful to students who are interested in Chinese culture and Asian arts. 


The content includes:


1. A course slide about Peking Opera and Facial Makeup (both PDF and PPT versions, read-only);


2. Three reading passages (color);


3. An answer worksheet for students;


4. Five sketches of Peking Opera masks for coloring.


 


Teachers can use the slide for introducing Peking Opera and Facial Makeup directly. There are also some website addresses provided in the slides. Teachers can play those videos to show Peking Opera. In the end, there is an activity for making masks. Five sketches of Peking Opera masks are provided in the product. Teachers can print them out for students to color or let students design the masks by themselves.
