Arts and Crafts: Robot Drawing

                
                     












January-New Year themed drawings with markers! Students will create a robot drawing using geometric shapes (squares, rectangles, circles, triangles, ovals) and markers. They will practice shape recognition, composition, line control, and creative design while building a character.


 


Materials include a step by step lesson plan and 6 student finished samples from our talented first graders!


 


Once the directions are given, students can look at the samples and work independently on their own. Although this lesson is designed for lower grades, upper grades can still use it to create more detailed and elaborate drawings.
