Arts and Crafts: Firecracker Drawing

                
                     












January-New Year themed drawings with markers! Students will create a colorful New Year firecracker drawing using markers, practicing line control, shape construction, color blending (with markers), and creative design. Students will learn to illustrate motion and celebration using bright colors and dynamic lines.


 


Materials include a step by step lesson plan and 6 student finished samples from our talented first graders!


 


Once the directions are given, students can look at the samples and work independently on their own. Although this lesson is designed for lower grades, upper grades can still use it to create more detailed and elaborate drawings.
