Arts and Crafts: Sailboat Drawing

                
                     







November-Thanksgiving-Autumn-Winter themed drawings with markers! Students will create a drawing of sailboats on the ocean, demonstrating understanding of shape, proportion, horizon line, and color contrast to represent a seascape scene. The sailboat lesson is inspired by the Pilgrims’ voyage to America on the Mayflower. Just as the Pilgrims set sail across the Atlantic in search of a new beginning, this lesson uses the image of a sailboat to symbolize exploration, courage, and the journey toward new opportunities..
